A mid month health check
12.14.24
Good morning! I am finishing up my ☕️ and thinking about the body changes I have noticed since stopping magnesium, and incorporating coconut water, ALA and glutathione.
Everytime I say vasodilation, drink a shot of water, even if I spelled it wrong probably did atleast once, fuck it. 🤣🤣🤣.
First I must say I find coconut water tolerable with a dose of some juice mixed in. I have been sipping 8oz with around 2oz Pom juice once a day between drinking just plain water. I should be taking that amount in twice a day, I just keep forgetting to do it. I also might drink Coke Zero but only one 12 oz can a day, or a fruit splash Canada dry ginger ale. I like the death water but it is pricey so I haven’t been buying it. Oh yeah, and eating the pickles.
Still drinking one cup of mushroom coffee (TONIIQ 10 in 1) with one teaspoon of coconut creamer. Then a regular coffee with oat milk and a spoon of cool whip. I keep forgetting about my festive teas, I need to drink those occasionally. I have had a couple of headaches lately which are unusual for me, but nothing too concerning.
I have noticed that the firey pain that happens to my lower body skin has been almost non existent. But the damage is sure seen on the surface as ultra dry flaking skin but it isn’t accompanied by extra swelling or redness. I am picking up a very bad habit of picking the dead skin with my nails. I have caused a few craters, I don't realize I’m doing it sometimes I try to keep them covered. The other pain is a dull deep bone ache in my shins when Chimmie walks on me when my legs are up. She only does it for a second when trying to lay between them down by my feet. So I think the glutathione is really helping my blood sugar and insulin balance, and just cleaning up the excess methyl donors from the blood. ALA must be helping repair the myelin sheath on my nerves. The only pain currently still debilitating me is vasodilation. It feels like a blood pressure cuff with no release around the foot ankle and leg, and it takes hours sometimes for the pressure feeling to go away upon waking up because there isn’t enough blood to pump to the nerves. But atleast it goes away eventually now, that kind of pain is maddening! So, is the coconut water actually building blood, if I’m still in pain from low blood volume? Not sure, maybe I should try harder to drink it in the PM too.
Lymph drainage seems a bit better, I have even been able to massage less often which I appreciate. There were days earlier this year I would only feel relief from vasodilation for a few minutes to maybe half an hour and need to start massaging again. Any weight on top of my skin, even my silver sheet I lay on my legs during the day wasn’t tolerable. I will take the changes to be from the coconut/juice cocktail, pretty much any juice helps flush lymph. ALA is vasodilating slightly, but I thought the pros out way the cons on this one. As b6 exits the body it also sends out messages to the brain to vasodilate lol. So…yeah that is why I’m not using magnesium as a third vasodilator. If I could get blood building corrected I will take it again because magnesium (glycanate) does wonders for sleep and relaxing muscles and hormonal bloating. It is a little more noticeable when I’m on my period as there I am losing more blood, but not that much. Luckily, even though I have pernicious anemia I am not always (anemic), that is because I do supplement my b12 daily properly and have it under control. If I was anemic right now my period would be painful and excessive (it’s not even noticeable) and my body wouldn’t be healing at all. If I had a cut currently I know it would scab, which is great. If you remember my right big toe had not healed completely and the scab would break everyday and it would seep, it no longer does that but my feet are a mess still. Lumpy, water humps, white toes when stretched. I probably have POTS on top of everything else, lol. Eventually I want to buy a vibration plate that I could use just sitting down with my feet up on it. They are very expensive but that is the kind of thing I think would make a big difference in my life.
Well, that is my wellness check up, still having insomnia so the b6 is still on the rampage. Rampage, that’s a funny word. Let’s put it in the gif search bar and see what pops up…
okay one more…
I think I’ll close this one out for the day. If I come back it will be a new post.
